The School of Film Technology is built around a simple idea — that cinema is not just entertainment, but a powerful medium of storytelling, culture, and influence. The department brings together creative direction, technical precision, and narrative thinking, enabling students to engage with film as both an art form and an industry.
Students are immersed in a practice-led environment where they learn through making — films, edits, soundscapes, visual experiments — not just studying them. With exposure to disciplines such as direction, cinematography, editing, sound design, and animation, the focus is on building creators who understand both aesthetic language and production realities.
What emerges is not just technical competence, but a distinct creative voice — one that can adapt across cinema, OTT platforms, advertising, and digital storytelling ecosystems.
