Zyren 2k26 (24 Hours Hackathon)
The hackathon provided a practical platform for students to apply cybersecurity and technical knowledge to solve real-world problems. Participants enhanced their skills in teamwork, time management, and collaborative problem-solving during the 24-hour challenge. Exposure to industry experts like Nixon Ebenezer and the judging panel helped students understand current technology trends and expectations. The multi-stage evaluation process encouraged innovation, as only the most promising ideas advanced to the final round and presentations. Cyber Tech Fest’ 26 on Safe Internet Day
The event highlighted the students’ creativity, digital skills, and innovative thinking in reel production. It encouraged participants to express ideas through visual storytelling and boosted their confidence in presenting their work. The competition fostered teamwork, technical learning, and a vibrant cultural spirit, making it a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.

The session was conducted for II Year B.Sc. Cyber Security students with the objective of guiding them in shaping meaningful career paths while upholding ethical principles and human values. The programme emphasized experiential learning and industry awareness aligned with Sustainable Development Goals by encouraging responsible professional conduct and innovative thinking.

The second round of the day began with Ms.Raghavi and Ms.Saishree, the Emcee, extending a warm welcome to the participants and briefing the audience about the format and rules of the round 2 competition. Participants actively took part in the event by selecting prompts and creating their own audio versions with unique perspectives. Each participant presented their redesigned prompts to the audience, explaining the concept and creativity behind their work. Information Security Education in association With NSS
The Department of Computer Applications, in association with NSS, organized an Information Security Education program on 5 December 2025 at Block V, 4th Floor, Lab 2, to mark World Computer Literacy Day. The session raised awareness about cyber safety, responsible internet use, and digital literacy, and 55 students actively participated in the program.
